• Lac du Pêcher, Chavagnac: trout fishing on a 2 hectare lake. No boating

There is no swimming allowed on either of these lakes.

Outdoor horse riding centre de la Pinatelle, Chalinargues
This horse riding centre, in the middle of the woods, is on the edge of the Pinatelle forest. Its setting benefits from fine views over the nearby Monts du Cantal. This centre has already seduced numerous riders from clubs all over France. It holds department, regional and national level TREC competitions (Technique de Randonnée Equestre de Compétition). The centre is based near Chalinargues, and it will soon be holding the French TREC horse riding championships. Dates 21st, 22nd, 23rd September 2007.
