The festival Mondes croisés
Every year the Pays de Murat gets ready for its Mondes croisés Festival which is an international celebration of dances and music from all over the world. It reunites numerous performers from every continent.
The festival du Cornet de Murat
This is a gastronomic gathering organised on September 16th by the town of Murat. Performances and activities have been devised by Murat to make your day as enjoyable as possible.
Les fêtes du four
Taste the truffade or other local specialities cooked in the village ovens. These gatherings that are organised all summer are precious moments of conviviality to share with the locals.
La nuit du Chapelou
Every year the fete committee; La Villageoise, organises a half nocturnal walk over 10km with stop overs for something to eat or some entertainment.

Cooking workshops
The Chef Jérôme CAZANAVE, who did all of his training with some of France’s most renowned chefs (Paul BOCUSE in Lyon, Michel BRAS in Laguiole) welcomes you to his restaurant; Le Jarousset. With the Chef’s guidance you will be able to create a complete menu, using fresh produce. Cooking Tips and innovation on the menu!
Organisation of the workshops (Depending on the time of year, they are held every second Saturday)
4pm to 7pm: Preparation of the menu in the restaurant’s kitchen
8pm: A moment of gastronomic indulgence, tasting the meal made by the group.
Prices: 30€ per person (wine not included), lessons are reserved for adults
